Overview

  • Dr. Somali Nguyen, DNP, CRNP, AGACNP-BC is an instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. He is a Board-Certified Adult and Gerontology Acute Care nurse practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience. His background is in Emergency Medicine and has extensive leadership experience as he assisted in the implementation and management of the comprehensive vascular access team and medical emergency team at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. In his faculty role, he is the co-specialty track coordinator for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care nurse practitioner program as well as the Academic Integrity Coordinator for the MSN Program.
