Sarah Tucker is an assistant professor in the UAB Entry-Level Doctoral Occupational Therapy program and is the Program Director of the UAB Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program. She received her PhD in Health Education and Promotion from UAB in 2019. Dr. Sarah Tucker's professional and teaching background is focused in pediatrics and community-based practice. She has worked with clients in a variety of pediatric settings, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and feeding. Dr. Tucker is a certified infant and child massage instructor and has been trained in pediatric constraint-induced therapy. She has worked with and has research interests related to populations involved in the cycle of incarceration.
