This chapter summarizes the common molecular genetic alterations associated with these tumors, with particular emphasis on the genomic alterations associated with neurofibromatosis, astrocytomas, glioblastomas, oligodendrogliomas, neuroectodermal tumors, schwannomas, and meningiomas.
