Dental implant materials: Commercially pure titanium and titanium alloys

  • Manufacturers use six different titanium-based biomaterials to fabricate dental implants. Each of these materials, including four grades of commercially pure titanium and two titanium alloys, has distinct mechanical and physical properties.
