This chapter describes the experiences of a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the diagnosis and management of Chiari I malformations (CM I). Data were collected regarding reasons for referral and outcomes and indicate that approximately half of referred patients were appropriately diagnosed radiographically with CM I. Moreover, of patients who actually had consistent imaging, only about one-third reported symptoms attributable to CM I. These findings illustrate pertinent issues relating to healthcare resources and delivery of multidisciplinary care.
