A case of a transient global amnesia due to a pitutary tumor

  • Transient global amnesia has not been reported previously in association with a mass lesion. A case report is given of a man who experienced recurrent transient global amnesia as the presenting symptom of a chromophobe adernoma of the pituitary. After removal of the adenoma, the patient became asymptomatic. © 1974 American Academy of Neurology.
