A priori estimates and existence for strongly coupled semilinear cooperative elliptic systems

Abstract

  • In this paper, we study the boundary value problem of a strongly coupled semi-linear cooperative elliptic system Δ + f(u) = 0 in Ω, u = 0 on ∂Ω, where Ω ⊂ ℝn (n ≥ 2) is a bounded and smooth domain, and u = (u1,..., uk) and f = (f 1,..., fk) are vector-valued functions. Under appropriate conditions on the non-linearity f and on the domain Ω, various a priori estimates and/or existence of positive solutions have been established.
