A uroflowmeter for monitoring frequency and volume of urination

Academic Article

  • A uroflowmeter was designed to automatically measure how often patients without bladder sensation urinate and the volume of each urination. The device, based on an optical sensor which monitors and records each 10-ml increment in voided volume, can be operated by non-technical personnel and is accurate, safe, reliable and relatively inexpensive. © 1981 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
