Midpregnancy serum thromboxane B2 determinations do not predict subsequent adverse pregnancy outcomes

Academic Article

Abstract

  • In 542 women randomized to placebo or who failed a prerandomization compliance test during a trial of low-dose aspirin to prevent preeclampsia, serum thromboxane B2 measured at 20 to 22 weeks failed to predict preeclampsia, pregnancy-induced hypertension, or fetal growth retardation. © 1993, Mosby.
