Hypo- or a-reflexia is a universal observation in the Eaton-Lambert syndrome (ELS). This is different from typical myasthenia gravis in which, as a rule, the reflexes are not altered. The following is a case with ELS whose muscle stretch and H reflexes were improved with guanidine hydrochloride.
