Overview

  • Dr. Selph joins UAB Urology after completing training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Duke University. He underwent advanced training in treating urethral stricture disease, ureteral stricture disease, erectile dysfunction, male urinary incontinence, and complications of pelvic radiation therapy. He is currently the only urologist in Alabama who is fellowship-trained in genitourinary cancer survivorship, a field that focuses on the urologic complications of cancer treatment.

He also specializes in urethroplasty surgery, repair of ureteral strictures using open and robotic techniques, artificial urinary sphincter and male transobturator sling placement, treatment of erectile dysfunction including penile prosthesis placement, and repair of genital fistulas.

He is currently accepting new patients and referrals.
