• Dr. Wiederman was a clinical psychology professor for 19 years, mostly at a women's college in Columbia SC, before transitioning to professional development as the Director of Professional Development at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. He joined the UAB Department of Family and Community Medicine in May 2020 as Director of Leadership and Professional Development. Dr. Wiederman's interests include applying psychology for the betterment of peoples' health and well-being, facilitating the growth of emotional intelligence, and working with leaders to maximize their potential.
