Overview

  • Danica Maria Vodopivec Kuri, MD (Assistant Professor, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism) joined our faculty September 1, 2022. Dr. Vodopivec Kuri completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine and her clinical fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship Program at Boston Medical Center.

    She completed a highly selective and unique fellowship in Oncologic Endocrinology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She will be one of only eight physicians in the world formally trained in this rapidly advancing and highly specialized field of endocrine oncology.

    Dr. Vodopivec Kuri will be working closely with the endocrine surgeons in the multidisciplinary endocrine neoplasia clinic, seeing patients with familial and sporadic multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes, advanced thyroid cancer, adrenal cancer, as well as other malignant neuroendocrine tumors. In addition, she will serve on the newly formed Highlands Inpatient Glycemic Service (HIGS) and will help supervise the Fellows Inpatient Glycemic Service (FIGS) at Main and our Endocrine Consult Team. She will also have a general endocrine clinic at TKC.
