Overview

  • Dr. Manabendra Dasgupta is an Associate Professor of Economics in department of Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics. He has a PhD. in Economics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. His research interest includes Microeconomic Theory (both theory and application). At present, Dr. Dasgupta mainly teaches Microeconomics (Principle and Intermediate) and Macroeconomics (Principle). However, he has taught International Trade, Industrial Distribution, Public Finance, MBA Microeconomics, Managerial Economics during his tenure at UAB.
