He has a national/international reputation as a clinical investigator in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and has published extensively on operative obstetrics, preeclampsia and the role of maternal infection in spontaneous preterm labor and delivery. He is an editor of the newest edition of Williams Obstetrics.
