Overview

  • Peter Bosworth, MBA is the program Director for the Office of Interprofessional Curriculum (OIPC).

    Mr. Bosworth is a native of Leicester, England and attended Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. During a 19-year career in the Royal Navy, he served as an operations officer in the Submarine Service, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In 1996 he moved to Birmingham, Alabama and attended UAB graduating with a BS in Business in 1999 and an MBA in 2003.

    Prior to joining the OIPC, Mr. Bosworth has worked at UAB as the Business and Marketing Manager of the Student Career Center, Recruiter in Human Resources, and from 2003 until 2013 as the Business Manager of the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care. In this role he oversaw the pre and post submission operations of grants and contracts for up to 56 faculty. He also assisted faculty members of the Comprehensive Center for Healthy Aging to submit grant submissions.
