Overview

  • Dr. Aline Zouk completed her undergraduate education in Biology, graduating from the American University of Beirut. She then completed her initial medical training while also at the American University of Beirut. Dr. Zouk undertook fellowship training in the UAB Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine, where she served as chief pulmonary fellow. This training was followed by a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at New York University. After completing her latest fellowship, Dr. Zouk returned to UAB as an assistant professor in its interventional pulmonology program.
  • Research Overview

  • Dr. Zouk is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the European Respiratory Society, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Federation of Medical Research. Dr. Zouk has research experience in bag-mask ventilation, endotracheal intubation, pulmonary artery enlargement, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
