• Aprajita Jagpal MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine and clinical educator in the Division of Rheumatology. She completed her Internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical center in Miami Florida and fellowship in rheumatology at University of Alabama in Birmingham.

    Dr. Jagpal joined UAB faculty in 2017. She practices general rheumatology and treats full spectrum of rheumatic diseases. She maintains special clinical interest in rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disease associated interstitial lung disease and comorbidities associated with rheumatoid arthritis. She is actively involved in teaching activities of fellows and medical residents. She also enjoys participating in teaching activities with first and second year medical students through Clinical Skills Scholar program at the school of medicine.
