Overview

  • Sara Mazzoni is a board-certified Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been faculty at UAB since 2016. The majority of her clinical time is spent on labor and delivery, however, she also serves as the director of the group prenatal care clinic for women with gestational diabetes in our Obstetrics Complications Clinic. Her research and educational interests include healthcare delivery models, such as group prenatal care, and perinatal mental health. Additionally, she serves as the assistant program director for our residency family planning curriculum.
