Observation of a narrow charm-strange meson D sJ+(2632) → D s+η and D 0K +

Abstract

  • The observation of a charm-strange meson D sJ+(2632) along with two decay modes of D ++η and D 0K +, was investigated. A peak with 101 events over a combinatoric background of 54.9 events at a mass of 2635.4∓3.3 MeV/c 2 was observed in the D s+η decay mode. In the D 0K + decay mode, a corresponding peak of 21 events over a background of 6.9 at 2631.5∓2.0 MeV/c 2 was observed. The results show a clear peak of 43.4∓9.1 events with a Poisson fluctuation probability <6×10 -6 at a mass difference of 666.9∓3.3 MeV/c 2.
