Herniation and strangulation of the gallbladder through the foramen of Winslow

Abstract

  • Herniation of the gallbladder through the foramen of Winslow into the lesser sac is rare. In our case, the diagnosis was suggested by sonography, investigated further by radionuclide and computed tomographic (CT) studies, and confirmed by percutaneous needle puncture and opacification.
