Patient responses to the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) and the National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (NEI VFQ-25) were evaluated. The association of these surveys to diagnostic tests was also examined. It was found that the OSDI and the NEI VFQ-25 measure different components of patient symptomatology and have different association profiles with dry eye diagnostic tests.
