Abstract

  • In the interval of pulse durations 0. 1-1 mu sec the authors obtain a modulation regime of the Q factor of radiation from GOS-1000 lasers, and from a laser with neodymium-glass active element of rectangular shape with dimension 4 multiplied by 24 multiplied by 72 cm**3. The modulation is accomplished by using large-scale passive shutters from crystals LiF:F//2** minus .
