  • Tendinitis of the patellar ligament or quadriceps, so-called jumper's knee, is primarily found in healthy athletic individuals. The authors are reporting the case of a patient who was seen with chronic tendinitis secondary to hyperparathyroidism that was recognized only after avulsion of the right patellar ligament, left quadriceps tendon, and right triceps tendon.
