Recurrent fractures of the humerus in a baseball pitcher. A case report

Academic Article

  • We present the case of a patient who had a series of three fractures of the humeral shaft, each of which was sustained when he was throwing a baseball. The patient had prodromal symptoms similar to those that occur with a stress fracture, but each subsequent fracture was either proximal or distal to the site of the initial displaced fracture.
