• Dr. Nipun Reddy obtained his undergraduate degree at Villanova University and received his medical doctorate at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at UAB. He joined the faculty at UAB in 2013 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and also has an appointment at the Birmingham VA Medical Center in Gastroenterology. He was named the Ambulatory Medical Director for GI/Hepatology at the Kirklin Clinic in 2016. He serves on various committees within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Reddy is a vital part of the Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship program and also teaches first year medical students in the UAB School of Medicine. His clinical practice is focused on providing comprehensive services to a full range of digestive disorders at the Kirklin Clinic, VA Hospital and UAB Hospital.
