I have vast experience in interventional cardiology and in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). I have performed hundreds of percutaneous interventions in the last year including extensive experience in intravascular ultrasound and fractional flow reserve measurement. Accurate non-angiographic assessment of coronary artery disease is essential for the success of this project. I am also one of four interventional cardiologists who participate in the TAVR. Over the past three years our group has performed over 500 TAVR procedures. I have considerable experience assessing patients with severe aortic stenosis, including the effect of coronary artery disease on clinical course of these very ill patients.
