• Dr. Dawson is an experienced, dynamic nurse and health care leader promoting evidence-based clinical and management practice from the bedside to the boardroom. She lectures and consults on leadership, work design, organizational systems, staff development, community health, health careers, and management. She has served as the principal investigator, project director and coordinator on workforce grants exceeding $2.1 million. She is investing in the next generation of nurse leaders with the Martha A. Dawson Genesis Nurse Leader Scholarship.
