• Kristin Kelly Porter, M.D., PhD, completed her undergraduate training at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH), graduating in 1998. After working for two years as a biologist in Pfizer’s neuroscience drug discovery division in Groton, CT, she returned to the MD/PhD program at Dartmouth College. She completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2004 and her MD in 2009 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical School. After completing her Radiology residency in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2014 and the Body and Cardiovascular MRI Fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 2015, she joined their Diagnostic Imaging faculty in the Body Imaging Division.

Dr. Porter serves on the Awards Committee for the American Association for Women Radiologists. Her area of clinical practice is abdominal imaging and her research focus is on 4D and Quantitative MR techniques.
