Dr. Zelada is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. Dr Zelada is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. In addition to maintaining a large and busy clinical practice, his clinical and research work is focused on patients with diabetes, specially patients with type 1 diabetes on insulin pumps and continue glucose monitoring (CGM) systems and patients with atypical forms of diabetes.
