Overview

  • Cori Johnson is a board-certified Adult/Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and also has a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree. She started her career as an RN in UAB’s Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She then worked as a Nurse Practitioner with the Vascular Division at UAB. Currently she is a full-time Instructor at the SON and teaches in the Adult/Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. She has a faculty practice as a nurse practitioner at the PATH Clinic, which provides care to uninsured patients with diabetes. She also completed the Faculty QI Scholars Program and is now the rapid cycle quality improvement (RCQI) expert on two UAB School of Nursing grants.
